Years ago Mishka Shubaly got me a job bouncing at the legendary NYC venue the Knitting Factory. I was basically escorting drunks out the door most of the time. For whatever reason they hired me to work in the office doing graphics for the club which remains to this day my favorite job that i have ever held down. the pay was shit but i liked all of my co workers and we had a blast. Yalan was a booker there at the time. She left NYC at some point and opened Double Happiness in her home town on Columbus and we will be closing the circle and playing there to and our little Chicago tour with fellow lifer Mishka and long time inspiration Brad Swinsky’s band the Most Falcons. He was the drummer of the Means and set the bar for tour machine for us.

This will be bittersweet and excellent assuming we aren’t all half dead by then.
